The Half-Blind Photographer

Living neither in the forest nor on the sea, Admiral Elk (anagrammatically speaking) is interested in it all, from the tiniest of creatures to the largest.

When I lost my sight in my left eye two years ago, I feared that photography would be a thing of the past. I’ve been taking pictures since I was ten, and I wasn’t prepared to give it up. So, I didn’t.  The pictures here were all taken after I lost my sight.

Currently, I have other photos for purchase hanging at The Gainesville Fine Arts Association Gallery, SIMED, Sweetberries, and Markey Wealth Management, all in Gainesville, Florida.

My primary interest is wildlife, but I also like a good memorial.
